Welcome to Women United! This is a website that covers the difficulties that women experience in sport on a daily basis.
My name is Katie Hurley and I’m the editor of Women United, the reason I set up this website is that I have actively participated in Netball from a young age and have always experienced some form of challenge, whether its the lack of visibility, or that no one took me seriously.
I realised that these weren’t experiences that only I had, that women all over the place have to face these challenges as well. Therefore I wanted to write about it and shine a light towards it.
